Hi, I’m Jen Hansen.

Welcome! I hope this will be a fresh and positive experience from physical therapy encounters you may have had in the past. One where you feel heard and understood/respected. What sets me apart from other physical therapists? My treatment philosophy and osteopathic approach. My philosophy is that each client who walks through my door is an individual with their own set of circumstances, background, and beliefs. As an experienced osteopathic therapist I see and treat the patient as a whole, not just focusing on one body part. My hands are my most important tool as a manual therapist. I feel that assessing and treating dysfunctions - anywhere in the body- is effective and efficient care. Rather than watching you perform an exercise routine to “work through it” I try to take down the barriers that are limiting you. I think outside the box in my treatments as I recognize the body is one interdependent unit. For example, I may check to see how muscle imbalances in your hip or low back are influencing that plantar fasciitis pain. Is the limited mobility in your thoracic spine contributing to your headaches? My treatment approaches can vary from session to session, depending on how your body is responding. With several tools and treatment techniques in my repertoire I am able to offer a wide variety of interventions to suit the individual.

I have been providing comprehensive physical therapy services tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient for over 20 years. My goals are your goals: to alleviate pain, restore mobility, and improve overall function and quality of life. Basically, getting you back to the things you need and want to do to live your life.

From the time we are infants through the decades of our lives, our bodies work as a unit of interdependent systems. I am adept at treating these systems through a variety of manual, hands-on techniques. Where it be musculoskeletal, fascial, visceral, neural or circulatory, I have the skills to address and fine tune areas of the body often overlooked by other practitioners.

progressing exercises you can do at home to help you independently manage your symptoms and empower your journey to optimal health.

Common conditions we treat include post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and balance disorders, among others.

At our Chaska location, we utilize a range of techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to help you regain strength and enhance your quality of life. We believe in fostering a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable and empowered to take charge of their health.

If you are looking for effective physical therapy solutions, contact us to schedule an appointment and begin your path to recovery., primarily in an outpatient orthopedic setting. As an accomplished osteopathic therapist, my approach is such that I view and treat the patient as a whole person, not just a diagnosis of a single body part.

My career gives me joy and satisfaction. I look forward to the challenge of helping individuals who have not had success with other forms of treatment in the past.

Jen

My Approach

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Dream it

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.

Build it

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
